Accounts Payable Specialist

Receive, review, and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and completeness. Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation, then process vendor payments accurately and in a timely manner. Reconcile vendor statements, resolve payment discrepancies, and ensure proper coding and entry of invoices into the accounting system. Prepare payment runs including check disbursements and electronic payments, while maintaining accurate vendor files and IRS 1099 reporting requirements. Assist with monthly account reconciliations, audits, and provide supporting documentation as requested. Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues. This full-time role works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays during month-end or year-end activities. The position is primarily office-based and supports WarHorse Gaming's Finance team in ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
