Job Summary
Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for processing invoices, payments, reconciliations, and adjustments; support for monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation; maintain records for in-transit inventory, reimbursements, and real estate accounting; ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP; collaborate with internal teams and provide accounting analysis and reporting using QuickBooks and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or financial analysis
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
