Job Summary
Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for high-volume invoice processing, vendor payments, reconciliations across multiple locations, and resolving billing discrepancies. Also supports month-end close, audits, year-end reporting, and processes monthly benefit invoices with HR. Requires 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience, basic GL knowledge, proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., MIP Abila), strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to work independently with confidential information.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of general ledger (GL) accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
- Proficiency in accounting systems (i.e. MIP Abila or similar accounting software)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, and confidential information
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in multilocation organization
