Join Aston Carter as an Accounts Payable Specialist, where you will manage accounting tasks related to accounts payable, expense reporting, and sales & use tax submissions while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions. This fully onsite, contract to hire role requires an associates degree in accounting and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Accounting
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze, research, and problem solve within an accounting system
- In-depth understanding of accounting processes relative to general ledger, wire transfers, ACH, expense reporting, vendor record-keeping, and accounting chart of accounts
- Capacity to work on multiple priorities under stringent deadlines
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality in dealing with sensitive or proprietary information
- Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports and business correspondence; communicate and interact effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with MRP systems (Syteline) is a plus.
