Job Summary
Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for payment processing and vendor management within a global AP team, focusing on operational execution and process-improvement delivery. Key duties include payment validation, vendor data validation in Coupa and Oracle Fusion, end-to-end AP issue resolution, SOX-compliant controls, system error monitoring, AP close activities, reconciling items analysis, and driving process improvements. The role emphasizes strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to deliver accurate, timely AP services in a high-volume environment and to support cross-functional stakeholders. Required qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, 3-5 years in finance/accounting, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle Fusion/PeopleSoft), and demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives with attention to detail. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required (business or accounting background preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting function in a global organization
- Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with offshore or shared service teams preferred.
- Experience using ERP packages (SAP, Oracle Fusion, Peoplesoft etc.)
- Proven ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and executing urgent, time-sensitive requests
- Excellent organizational, planning and overall time management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Detail oriented and high degree of accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel, PowerPoint and Visio skills
