Job Summary
Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and financial regulations. Manage stakeholder enquiries by investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and accounts payable queries. Maintain supplier records and support vendor onboarding, including due diligence requirements. Prepare and process payment runs for electronic, manual, and cheque payments in line with supplier terms. Support month-end activities such as reconciliations, accruals, and reporting to ensure timely close processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen financial processes and data quality. This Full-Time Fixed-Term position runs for 12 months. Salary packaging includes up to $15,900 on living expenses and $2,650 on meals.
Required Qualifications
- Accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and compliance
- Proficiency with ERP/accounts payable systems and document workflows
- High level of attention to detail, organisation and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy
- Current Driver's Licence
- Willingness to travel for work
