Job Summary
Accounts Payable Manager leading a high-volume AP function in a Real Estate/Property Management organization. You will supervise a four-person AP team, oversee payment processing, check disbursements, vendor management, and 1099/escheatment filings. You’ll develop and improve internal controls and procedures, partner with accounting and operational teams, and drive efficiency and accuracy through process improvements. Requires strong communication and relationship-building across stakeholders; experience with Yardi and a Real Estate/property management background is preferred. Hybrid work schedule with remote flexibility one day per week.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting and/or accounts payable experience
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience leading accounting or AP teams
- Hands-on experience managing a high-volume accounts payable function
- Strong experience with Yardi is required
- Experience preparing and reporting 1099 filings
- Experience with unclaimed property (escheatment) filings
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
