Job Summary
Accounts Payable Manager to build and scale the AP function from the ground up. Own end-to-end procure-to-pay processes, establish strong internal controls, enforce PO and budget discipline, and design scalable workflows to support rapid growth. Work hands-on to implement best practices, develop SOPs, and partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and leadership to drive procurement governance, vendor onboarding, invoice processing, accruals, and timely close. Drive KPIs around AP aging, spend controls, and supplier performance while leveraging ERP systems and automation to improve efficiency and control.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounts payable or procurement finance experience, including management responsibility
- Experience building or significantly improving AP and procurement processes in a high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of PO workflows, spend controls, accruals, and budget management
- Experience working within ERP systems (Quickbooks, NetSuite, SAP or similar)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on startup or operational environment
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in manufacturing, distribution, food processing, or supply chain-intensive businesses
- Experience implementing AP automation or procurement systems
- Familiarity with inventory and operational purchasing environments
- Experience creating purchasing policies and approval frameworks
