Accounts Payable Manager

Job Summary
Own the management of accounts payable operations, coaching staff and ensuring all departments adhere to PO rules for proper creation, approval, and closing. Review payments outside Coupa, analyze invoices for accuracy, and maintain guidelines for invoice coding to protect general ledger and inventory records. Manage weekly payment runs, reconcile AP and Inventory Received Not Billed accounts, and develop standard operating procedures for Coupa and NetSuite to ensure SOX compliance. Provide accounting assistance across teams, assist with the monthly close, and prepare annual IRS reporting including 1099s. Train new employees on ERP systems and manage the unclaimed funds process. This cross-functional role supports FIGS, the industry's category-defining healthcare apparel brand, with a focus on serving healthcare professionals globally.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable oversight at a fast-growing company
- Advanced experience in Coupa including Coupa Pay and InvoiceSmash
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with various internal teams, external accountants, vendors, and upper management
- Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Experience managing and developing accounts payable teams and a proven track record of improving AP processes
Desired Qualifications
- E-commerce, consumer products or retail experience, a plus
