Job Summary
Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations for corporate and property-level entities, including invoice review, weekly payment processing, and month-end reconciliations. Administer AP systems such as Concur, Paymode-X, and Bottomline while managing vendor onboarding, transitions to electronic payments, and annual 1099s. Supervise Accounts Payable Associates and offshore resources, providing coaching, training, and performance guidance. Drive process improvements, automate workflows, and maintain compliance through rigorous audit preparation and KPI monitoring. Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data trends and identify risks within payment and expense programs.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable or accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility
- Strong experience administering AP and expense platforms (Concur, Paymode-X, VendorCafe, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets
- Strong understanding of AP controls, compliance, and audit requirements
- Proven ability to improve processes, implement automation, and scale operations
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with strong critical-thinking and decision-making abilities
