Job Summary
Manage the full Accounts Payable Controller function for critical SARS accounts by receiving third-party invoices and statements, verifying supplier documentation against SARS requirements, and processing payments per agreed terms. Reconcile supplier accounts, generate age analysis and disbursement reports to resolve queries and overdue balances, and execute daily EFTs while tracking invoice clearance. Communicate all unresolved queries to management and maintain specialized accounts with strict attention to detail. Stand in for the team as needed and adhere to company policies. Occasional overtime may be required during month-end and year-end processes.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12
- More than 5-7 years of experience in Accounts Payables (Creditors)
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the Logistics Industry
- Experienced working with critical accounts (non-negotiable)
- Perform well under stress and meet tight deadlines (non-negotiable)
- Attention to detail and accuracy (non-negotiable)
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills (non-negotiable)
- Experience working in an AP (Finance) software program
- Computer literate with good Excel knowledge
- Occasional overtime may be required, particularly during month-end and year-end processes
