Job Summary
Accounts Payable Associate responsible for full-cycle AP support including invoice processing, vendor payments, and related AP functions. Duties include coordinating with the AP Supervisor, processing invoices within 48 hours, validating GL coding, obtaining approvals and documentation (W-9, ACH), reconciling vendor statements, managing payables and bank payments, handling CorPay enrollment, maintaining vendor data, and contributing to process improvements such as AI OCR AP solutions. Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ERP experience (Great Plains preferred), and effective communication in a team environment. Emphasizes monthly/weekly reconciliations, ethical conduct, and adaptability to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Accounts Payable or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounting
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and vendors
- Experience using financial software
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to sudden changes in priority
- Effectively understand and use tools/methodologies
- Full understanding of and processing experience with various ERP accounting software (Great Plains experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
