Job Summary
Process vendor invoices, match them to purchase and repair orders, and issue payments while reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies. Post customer payments, reconcile daily cash receipts, and manage accounts by following up on outstanding balances and processing refunds. Maintain accurate records in dealership management systems, assist with month-end closing, and ensure compliance with policies. Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments, support audits, and cross-train to other positions within the office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership accounting experience
- Knowledge of dealership accounting software (Reynolds & Reynolds)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic accounting and math skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment
