Job Summary
Process invoices and payments by sorting, matching, coding, and batching documents with purchase orders and receiving records. Resolve vendor inquiries, handle complex payment disputes, and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Analyze AP metrics such as Days Payable Outstanding and spend trends for management review. Lead process improvements to reduce manual work and strengthen internal controls while supporting accounting closures. Serve as backup for employee expense reports and assist auditors with documentation. Support the team during monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of relevant work experience or bachelor's degree in lieu of experience
- Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
- Detail oriented, professional, reliable
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to assume and prioritize and multiple priorities
- Ability to successfully work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
- Valid Driver's License, ability to maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record, and ability to adhere to the KA Motor Vehicle Policy
- Travel 25-75%; depending on job
- Lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree in accounting or related field preferred
