Accounts Payable Accountant

Accounts Payable Accountant role handling AP duties on-site in the Indianapolis area. Responsibilities include advising the supervisor on account status, assisting in budget requests, developing and implementing new accounting methods, advising staff on program-funding accounting matters, developing policies for fiscal programs, coordinating the computerized accounting system, certifying the accuracy of financial records, analyzing and interpreting financial statements, reconciling discrepancies, interfacing with state and federal auditors, closing books, and providing mail room backup support.
