Job Summary
Manage a varied client portfolio comprising sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies while overseeing statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and the preparation of income and expenditure accounts. Review and submit VAT returns, personal and corporate tax returns, and management accounts for clients. Provide direct support for client queries and collaborate with senior management and partners on projects. Retain existing clients and build relationships with prospective clients to contribute to firm growth. Work alongside experienced Managers and Partners with autonomy over portfolio management.
Required Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice
- worked as a Team Leader/ Client Manager/ Manager within a practice environment
- hands on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax and VAT
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients within a practice environment
- Experience reviewing work prepared by more junior members of staff
