Job Summary
Account Manager oversees a business unit to ensure assets—including customers, staff, aircraft, equipment, and facilities—are maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with airport authorities, ensuring contract and service level agreement compliance, supervising staff, overseeing maintenance of ground support equipment, managing attendance and labor budgets, ensuring TSA and security program compliance, conducting audits, implementing site-specific security plans, and performing other duties as requested by WFS or customer leadership. Strong emphasis on fairness, equity, and professionalism in interactions with employees, customers, vendors, and third parties. Requires effective leadership, relationship-building with stakeholders, budgets and scheduling expertise, and knowledge of security and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in aviation or a related industry
- Strong understanding of TSA regulations and airport security protocols
- Experience managing budgets, scheduling, and labor cost allocation
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and train staff
- Independent judgment and decision-making skills
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and days off
