Accounts Manager/Budget Analyst

Job Summary
Account Manager/Budget Analyst responsible for reviewing departmental budgets, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and developing budgets for the company and subsidiaries; performs post-audit and other reviews of expenditures and revenues; supports the Finance Team; prepares monthly invoices, coordinates with program managers and auditors, and ensures reconciliation to the general ledger; liaises with fiscal department, funding sources, and program managers for contract management, budget revisions, invoicing, and collection issues; supports annual agency audits and ensures alignment of fiscal and program departments with expenditures benchmarks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
- Two (2) years of experience in general accounting, fiscal management, and government accounting, preferably in the non-profit sector
- Knowledge of WIOA, TANF, SNAP E&T and other pertinent regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of GAAP and other applicable accounting procedures
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with employees and auditors
- Ability to construct and maintain a comprehensive budget
- Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and accounting software; knowledge of MIP preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evening and/or weekend hours
