Job Summary
Manage General Ledger operations, prepare journal entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliations for 12 APAC legal entities in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and foreign currency revaluations, while ensuring timely delivery of financial reports and statutory filings for SST, GST, and VAT. Collaborate with AP, AR, Treasury, and external teams to resolve discrepancies, assist with audits, and drive process improvements across the region. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 3–5 years of R2R experience, and proficiency in ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) functions
- Experience managing month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience handling multiple legal entities and/or regional accounting responsibilities within an APAC environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multinational environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different countries and time zones
