Job Summary
Prepare company accounts and corporation tax returns for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships. Assist in audit planning, identify risks, and oversee fieldwork completion to satisfy audit objectives. Manage both small and large client engagements, including not-for-profit organisations, while maintaining face-to-face client interactions. This role offers exposure to owner-managed businesses within a national marketplace at one of Hampshire's leading Chartered Accountancy Practices in Southampton. The position supports candidates with full study opportunities for ACCA/ACA qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years practice experience dealing with accounts preparation and assisting with audits, particularly with fieldwork
- AAT qualified/ ACCA/ ACA studying
- Well organised and able to work autonomously
- Experience of dealing with clients face to face
- A team player and happy to offer help to others
