Job Summary
Prepare end-to-end accounting tasks for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships, including accounts, tax computations, and VAT. Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax filings while liaising with clients as necessary. Undertake ad hoc work requests from management to support a busy workload across accounts, bookkeeping, and tax responsibilities. This role is based in Alton within a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice of chartered accountants. The position offers progression to a semi-senior or senior level within a growing firm, including a full study package and necessary study leave for candidates studying for AAT, ACCA, or ACA.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Semi Senior / Senior level, within a growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development
- You must be able to commute to, and work from the office full-time. At least until you settle into the role
