Job Summary
Accounts Assistant in Milton Keynes responsible for processing high volumes of daily payments to customers, suppliers and third parties; reviewing supporting documentation; challenging non-compliant payment requests; loading and processing daily bank payments; posting payments to the Pinnacle DMS accounting system; performing bank reconciliations; assisting with credit control and sales ledger tasks; liaising with internal departments to resolve payment and account queries; and supporting other accounting and administrative tasks. Requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and experience with payment processing; motor-trade exposure and Pinnacle DMS familiarity are advantageous but not essential.
Required Qualifications
- Previous accounts or finance administration experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with payment processing.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, sales ledger, and credit control processes.
- Experience using accounting software and automated banking systems.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Pinnacle DMS would be beneficial but is not essential.
