Job Summary
Maintain and administer the practice management system, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and up to date. Support effective time recording by handling timesheet queries, adjustments, and the accurate posting of timesheets. Manage key people updates, including starters, leavers, and status changes within the system. Assist with billing queries, fee approvals, and journal processing to ensure routine financial transactions are handled efficiently. Run and distribute reports to support Finance colleagues and teams across the wider business. Manage the Practice Management Support inbox, responding to queries and escalating complex requests when needed. Provide ad-hoc support and cover for colleagues on day-to-day finance activities and cash reporting. Join the Woking office team as part of a collaborative Finance unit.
Required Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- basic understanding of finance and accounting processes
- good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- a good head for numbers
- Great attention to detail
- Strong organisation skills

- A collaborative mindset
- ability to communicate with colleagues, investigating queries and finding solutions, while knowing when to ask for support

Desired Qualifications
- A bookkeeping qualification
- Previous experience within finance, accounts, administration or business support
- experience with financial systems, databases, reporting or transactional processing
- Experience within professional services
