Job Summary
Accounts Assistant (6-Month Fixed-Term Maternity Cover) Part-time up to 0.8 FTE hybrid Auckland role. Supports day-to-day finance with a focus on Accounts Payable, supplier invoices, and month-end processes; liaises with project managers, operations, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies; may involve supplier reconciliations, payment runs, and maintaining financial records. Offers flexible working arrangements (hybrid; school hours) and an immediate start. Reports to the Finance Business Partner and collaborates across the finance and operational teams; experience with Simpro and/or MYOB Acumatica and proficiency in Microsoft Office are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable, or similar finance role (construction/trade industry preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Experience with Simpro and/or MYOB Acumatica would be highly regarded, but is not essential
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office
