Job Summary
Accounts Assistant at Kensa Health helping support growth across home care, virtual care and analytics. Core duties include processing purchase and sales invoices, supporting AP/AR processes, reconciling bank accounts and cash movements, assisting with payroll-related reconciliations, month-end activities (journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations), producing monthly management accounts, and collaborating with operational teams on billing, collections and financial data. You’ll identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and efficiency, with a structured development pathway towards management accounting, financial reporting and broader finance responsibility, while working within a healthcare group delivering care in people’s homes and communities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or equivalent experience in finance/accounts assistant role
- Experience/studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA (AAT Level 3 or 4 mentioned)
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Excel and finance systems such as Xero or similar
- Ability to communicate with finance and non-finance colleagues
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations helpful
