Job Summary
Accounts Assistant supports the Finance team with day-to-day accounts receivable and general accounting operations. Responsibilities include monitoring AR activities for timely collections, preparing and issuing Statements of Account and invoices, recording payments and reconciliations, following up on outstanding balances, resolving billing discrepancies, monitoring aging receivables, preparing quotations, handling new customer onboarding, supporting process improvements in AR, maintaining filing and documentation, providing administrative and accounting support, and performing ad-hoc duties as assigned. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related fields, 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred, proficiency with Excel and accounting software, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team environment
