Job Summary
Accounting Technical Specialist role providing technical accounting consultation and driving transformation for accounting, compliance, and statutory reporting across global entities (Asia, Europe, Latin America) with focus on revenue recognition, fixed assets, inventory, grants/incentives, and local/adopted standards; collaborate with stakeholders across Finance (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Legal, M&A, HR, Procurement) and SAP S4 system design/implementation to standardize processes, improve automation, and ensure US GAAP/IFRS/local GAAP compliance; responsible for high-quality outputs, reviews of entity accountants, and maintaining regulatory compliance while supporting transformation and local governance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Professional Degree in Accountancy
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent)
- Min 9 years of experience in a global organization
- External auditor experience or knowledge/experience with SAP S4 is preferred/added advantage
- Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and Local GAAP
- Ability to work across organizations and geographies with tolerance for high ambiguity
- Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in shared services or international statutory reporting is an added advantage
