Accounting & Tax Manager

Lead the tax and accounting relationship for a group of small business clients; serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, oversee tax return preparation and quality-control, and manage the accounting workflow for assigned clients. Onboard new clients onto the monthly system, supervise and develop Staff Accountants and Project Accountants, and ensure timely delivery of financial statements and tax work year-round. Communicate proactively with clients, help them plan for taxes, and provide guidance to ensure ongoing client success. This role combines client relationship management, technical tax and accounting execution, and team leadership in an Indianapolis-based firm offering hybrid work flexibility.
