Accounting Supervisor

Lead and optimize Viant’s accounting operations and monthly close in a fast-growing public technology company. Partner with Accounting leadership to ensure GAAP compliance, strengthen internal controls, support audits and compliance, and identify opportunities to scale processes through automation and technology. Responsibilities include coordinating with Accounting Managers, overseeing general ledger operations, reviewing reconciliations, preparing and reviewing journal entries and AP transactions, cross-functional collaboration to streamline processes, maintaining SOX and company policies, driving process improvements, and leading projects around technology tools integration (ERP, accounting software, Excel data tools, and AI tools). Strong emphasis on mentoring team members, driving efficiency, and delivering reliable financial reporting. REQUIRED and preferred qualifications highlight a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 4+ years of accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities, Big 4/regional or publicly-traded experience as a plus, and strong analytical, communication, and IT skills.
