Accounting Supervisor (Healthcare)

Lead and supervise staff on healthcare-focused accounting engagements, directing 40% client work and 50% supervision-focused activities. Coordinate and lead all aspects of audits, reviews, returns, and compilations; evaluate internal controls; prepare time budgets and work programs for client engagements; review financial statements and tax returns; mentor and train staff, conduct staff performance reviews, and lead team projects. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to SVA policies; participate in monthly billings and client meetings; develop staff through mentoring interns and junior staff; contribute to ongoing professional development and external learning opportunities; demonstrate leadership and collaboration within a growing professional services firm that serves healthcare clients (medical, dental, veterinary practices). Be prepared to work approximately 55 hours/week during busy season and 40-45 hours/week during non-busy season; role based in Wisconsin (Brookfield or Madison) with on-site requirements.
