Job Summary
Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycle to ensure timely, accurate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses across multiple entities, while maintaining management reporting packages including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Serve as the accounting subject matter expert for ERP platforms like Infor CSI/SyteLine and Sage 100, driving improvements, chart of account standardization, and automation opportunities. Directly manage a team of accounting staff, conduct performance reviews, and build a culture of continuous improvement within the decentralized manufacturing organization. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams to analyze production costs, monitor inventory, and support business unit leaders with financial insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in U.S. GAAP
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Visual, Infor Syteline, Sage 100 or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a matrixed or decentralized organization is highly desirable
- Demonstrated proficiency in U.S. GAAP; experience with multi-entity or multi-brand environments strongly preferred
