Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations and provides leadership to the accounting team, including billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Responsible for month-end and year-end close, internal controls, and ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting. Collaborates with management to improve financial workflows and reporting quality, reviews journal entries and reconciliations, coordinates with external auditors, and prepares ad-hoc financial reports and analysis. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities, GAAP knowledge, Oracle NetSuite proficiency, advanced Excel skills, strong analytical and communication abilities, and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Proficiency with accounting software, Oracle NetSuite preferred, and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‐solving abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
