Job Summary
Accounting Supervisor leading day-to-day accounting across AP, AR, and general accounting in a multi-entity manufacturing environment. Hands-on, solutions-oriented leader responsible for supervising AP activities (invoice processing, approvals, accruals, three-way matching), assisting with bank and intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, and overseeing AP/AR workflow. Will support inventory-related accounting, collaborate with the Controller on operational initiatives, and drive process improvements and stronger controls. Onsite role based in Santa Ana, CA, with growth and succession opportunities within accounting leadership. Requires 5+ years in accounting/AP, supervisory experience preferred, manufacturing/inventory experience preferred, and proficiency with ERP systems (Sage, Dynamics/Navision or similar). Strong communication, adaptability, and willingness to learn are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting and accounts payable experience required
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, AP processes, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end procedures
- Experience within manufacturing or inventory-based environments highly preferred
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Sage, Dynamics/Navision, or similar platforms preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong attitude, adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn are critical for success
