Job Summary
Accounting Specialist for a Seattle-based client. Temp-to-hire, full-time hours (approximately 40/week) with hybrid work after training. Core duties include managing full-cycle Accounts Payable (invoice entry, coding, vendor payments), entering and maintaining sales estimates in NetSuite, reconciling corporate credit cards, assisting with 1099 contractor payments and crew settlements, maintaining accurate financial records and data entry, providing general office and administrative support, and supporting HR tasks such as onboarding paperwork and issuing contracts. Requires 2+ years in accounting/bookkeeping/AP, experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage), strong AP, reconciliation, and expense-tracking knowledge, 1099 processing experience preferred, and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Accounts Payable
- Experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Experience with 1099 processing and contractor payments preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
