Job Summary

Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP. Prepare and record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and investigate variances while maintaining the Oracle ERP General Ledger chart of accounts. Monitor financial data validation processes, support global consolidation activities including intercompany accounting and foreign currency translation, and develop Oracle Cloud EPM Narrative Reporting solutions. Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Compliance teams to drive process improvements and enhance system capabilities on Oracle ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM platforms. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations while helping advance innovative solutions that support a customer-centric finance organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting close processes
  • Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while building positive cross-functional relationships
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, accountability, and delivering high-quality results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, English major preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • CPA certification or active CPA candidate status
  • Experience supporting financial consolidations and reporting functions within a global organization
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle ERP, or Oracle Cloud EPM applications
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Narrative Reporting (NR), and Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
  • Knowledge of system governance, master data management, and financial data controls
  • Experience working with large data sets and financial systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements, automation initiatives, or finance transformation efforts
  • Experience working in a technology, utilities, energy, or infrastructure-focused organization
