Job Summary
Accounting Specialist to support Mercy For Animals’ Global Finance operations, including general ledger and month-end close accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and team member expenses; handle journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, explain fluctuations in account activity, support internal controls and process improvements, and serve as a point of contact for Finance-related inquiries, all while communicating in English and aligning with the organization’s policies and DEIJ values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in similar role
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Working knowledge of general accounting principles
- Commitment to the mission and values of the organization
