Job Summary
Record business transactions, key daily worksheets to the general ledger, and process invoices, checks, and account statements. Enter, review, and verify billing system entries while maintaining filing systems and generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Utilize computer systems to run reporting, pay bills, and order supplies, then research, track, and resolve accounting problems. Post monthly depreciation and journal entries into the general ledger system. Assist the accounts payable and billing department with other duties as assigned. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with no nights or weekends. This role sits at an office desk for most of the day. Join a hospitality culinary team operating in 33 locations across 12 countries, offering gourmet entertainment globally.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or working towards it
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Knowledge of posting/reclassing journal entries
- Knowledgeable in fixed asset depreciation
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, technologies, and financial reporting
- Advanced mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent in follow-through
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under time and resource constraints
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in building relationships, handling sensitive issues, and applying tact and diplomacy
- This person will be sitting at an office desk for most of the day
