Job Summary
Process member billing monthly, coordinate internal departments for accurate invoicing, and apply payments and cash receipts to the accounting system. Prepare weekly accounts payable with proper coding and approval, investigate vendor statement discrepancies, and maintain vendor records for 1099 reporting. Support monthly and year-end close activities by providing reconciliations to the Staff Accountant and CFO, while organizing digital and physical accounting files per internal policies. Assist with daily cash activity reviews, internal audits, and annual 990 preparation materials. Collaborate with department heads to ensure proper approval and accurate coding of all financial transactions.

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting procedures
- Ability to analyze and resolve routine discrepancies in a timely manner
- Tactful, courteous, and diplomatic in interactions with members, guests, vendors, and colleagues
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service orientation and a collaborative approach to working with others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling financial information
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support roles
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and member billing strongly preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is desirable
- Prior experience in a private club, hospitality, or membership-based environment is a plus but not required
