Accounting Specialist (Casino & Hotel)

Job Summary
Conduct daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting for Gaming and Non-Gaming revenue departments across the resort, including Cage, Slots, Table Games, Hotel, Food & Beverage, and Entertainment. Perform regulatory compliance functions in accordance with Nevada Gaming Control Board, federal, state, and SAHARA Las Vegas policies, while assisting in audits of all revenue centers and investigating discrepancies. Prepare daily and monthly statistics, revenue summaries, and reports to ensure adherence to applicable laws and procedures. Maintain accurate records and files for all work performed. Requires a valid Nevada Gaming License and age 21 or older.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Gaming License
- 21 years of age or older
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in Casino Audit, Hotel/Non‐Gaming Audit, AML Audit, or hospitality accounting
- Demonstrated ability to perform analytical reviews and interpret meaningful data relationships
- Experience with Infinium or similar accounting systems
- Experience with LMS (Casino & Slot Management System), InfoGenesis (POS), and Casino Cash Trac
- Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork, and professionalism
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to remain composed under pressure
