Job Summary
Integrate into a newly established team to successfully navigate the IPO process. Responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, drafting accounting memos, ensuring financial statements serve as a solid decision-making basis for management, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and documenting and reporting in German. Candidates should have a completed degree in business administration, finance, or accounting, along with experience in accounting practices under HGB, GAAP, and IFRS.
Required Qualifications
- Completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related fields
- Very good knowledge of HGB, GAAP, and IFRS
- Ability to create reports and annual financial statements in German
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a tax consultancy or auditing firm
- First professional experience in accounting at an internationally operating company
- Knowledge of goodwill impairment testing and pensions
- Fluent in German and English
