Job Summary
Payroll accounting lead for Argentina, owning payroll inputs validation, reconciliations, and month-end close; ensure regulatory compliance for labor and social contributions; develop and maintain controls and dashboards; drive process improvements and automation in payroll workflows; collaborate across HR, Finance, and Payroll teams and produce management reporting on variances and risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in HR, People Operations, or Finance with a strong focus on payroll accounting and controls
- Solid understanding of Argentina payroll concepts and statutory/social contributions; familiarity with related regulatory requirements
- Verbal and written English proficiency
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in reconciliations, validations, and exception management
- Proficiency working with HR/Payroll platforms and reporting tools; comfort interpreting data and mapping to accounting entries
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, especially during month-end close
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to partner with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, including controls, reconciliations, and validations
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, standardization, and automation
