Accounting Payables Technician

Job Summary
As the Technician, Accounts Payable at Kenny U-Pull, you will review and post vendor invoices, validate charges against purchase orders and goods/service receipts, identify and resolve invoicing discrepancies, reconcile vendor statements, and follow up with vendors or internal departments to resolve pending transactions. You will provide quality service to external and internal clients and support the finance team with other accounting tasks as needed, reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable at the Laval head office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar function
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Post-secondary education in an accounting or business-related field
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with D365, Maximo and Odoo systems is an asset
- Proactive in challenges with quick adaptability
- Capability to manage a large volume of transactions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bilingualism (French/English)
