Accounting & Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Process vendor invoices, reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and post inventory receipts and adjustments in the ERP system. Generate customer invoices, manage collections, and calculate payroll commissions and tip allocations against sales and POS data. Prepare recurring and ad-hoc analysis for sales, margin, and working capital while executing month-end close activities including journal entries and accruals. Monitor AR aging, material shortages, and slow-moving inventory to recommend action and maintain audit-ready records. Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests while adhering to TROY's internal controls and approval matrix.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, supply chain, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting operations experience
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Working knowledge of transaction controls
- Working knowledge of three-way matching
- Working knowledge of accruals
- Working knowledge of reconciliations
- Working knowledge of inventory flows
- Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data validation, large-data-set reconciliation)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage competing deadlines across a geographically dispersed organization
- High attention to detail

- The employee must meet recurring payroll, month-end, year-end, and inventory-count deadlines

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, supply chain, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible accounting operations experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
