Job Summary
Develop and facilitate documentation of key processes supporting quarterly reporting and analysis. Assist with daily accounting operations, month-end and quarterly close activities, and complete special projects. Utilize tools such as Co-Pilot, Power BI, Alteryx, or VBA to execute these tasks. Work 40 hours weekly for 10-12 weeks during the summer internship period. This role pairs with professional day-to-day work within the Accounting Operations department at CNO Financial Group, offering networking leader talks, career counseling, and industry presentation series to complement departmental learning.
Required Qualifications
- unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
- Progress towards a bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline
- Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of December 2027-June 2029
- Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer
- Experience with one or more of the following: Co-Pilot, Co-Pilot Studio, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Automate, VBA, Denodo, and Microsoft 365 Ecosystem
- Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours
- All work must be performed within the United States
- occasional travel to corporate offices may be required
