Job Summary
Track revenue and expenses in accounting software, audit invoices against purchase orders, and reconcile bank statements from POS to accounting software. Balance credit cards, process accounts receivable and payable, prepare journal entries for sales reports, and manage deferred income and chargebacks. Follow month-end and annual close procedures, including inventory accounts, while investigating vendor payment issues and processing refunds or freight charges. Assist with workflow procedures and support hiring and training of accounting assistants in the cash room. Perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and walking, including lifting up to 25 pounds, with availability for any scheduled shifts including holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written communication
- Strong mathematical skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work any scheduled shift including holidays and weather conditions as needed
- Regular attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Previous Accounting experience in the hospitality or themed entertainment industry
