Job Summary
Accounting Manager to oversee general accounting and supervise A/R/Billing and A/P in a manufacturing-oriented environment. Responsible for maintaining ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, revenue recognition, fixed assets and depreciation, month-end close, and preparation of financial reports and corporate packages. Drives process improvements, automation, and cross-training within the department; collaborates with suppliers on capacity and delivery recovery; requires ERP experience (Oracle R12, Essbase, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills. The role includes analytical reviews of financial reports and KPI trends, budgeting support, and implementation of goals, policies, and procedures for financial management and payroll within manufacturing. The physical demands include lifting up to 20 pounds and standard office/vision requirements. The role may include additional duties outside the function as necessary. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) or equivalent with four to ten years related experience in a highly diverse manufacturing environment
- Minimum of four years supervisory role in a lean accounting department, preferable of A/R and A/P functions
- Experience with fully integrated ERP systems - Oracle R12 (or similar software), including Essbase and Hyperion Financial Management reporting systems
- Experience collaborating with suppliers on capacity, process improvement, and delivery recovery activities
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment; participation in kaizens and value stream mapping exercises
- Strong Microsoft Office computer skills – Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Power Pivot, Power Query, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc), Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
