Accounting Manager

Job Summary
Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expenses including corporate credit cards and employee reimbursements. Perform month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations to support SOX compliance and US GAAP reporting for clinical trial and manufacturing accruals. Assist in quarterly and annual audit processes, tax filings, and budget vs. actual analyses while proposing workflow automation. This role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting in a hybrid setting in Philadelphia, PA. The team is focused on advancing novel KIR-CAR cell therapies for solid cancer treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- At least 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- High standards of accuracy, integrity, and professional judgment
