Accounting Manager

Job Summary
Ensure IFRS and J-SOX compliance, including quarterly and annual reporting and disclosures. Own the financial control and balance sheet integrity of designated markets. Lead and develop Financial Accountants, providing coaching and support. Review and strengthen accounting processes and internal controls. Partner with Corporate Planning, Inventory Accuracy, Procurement, Stores, and Ecommerce teams to provide business insight and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with and support our centralised Accounting and AP teams to drive operational excellence. This role is based at UNIQLO's European Head Office in London and requires a qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience in IFRS and financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Significant post-qualified experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting
- Excellent understanding of balance sheet and P&L accounting
- Experience leading, reviewing, and developing the work of others
- Advanced Excel and ERP system knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English
