Job Summary
Accounting Manager, Technical for a large financial services firm. Focus on corporate investment fund accounting, transactional accounting, and operations; manage offshore accounting team; prepare journal entries and analyses for corporate investment and equity method/incentive income accounting; coordinate with Tax and Finance; support SEC filings (10Q/10K) and financial statements; drive process improvements and automation; ensure strong internal controls; liaise with external auditors and management; requires US GAAP expertise and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting, operations, account analysis, and management reporting
- Asset manager industry experience is a plus
- Experience with SAP - BPC and Workday is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (and/or equivalent experience)
- CPA preferred
