Job Summary
The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accurate recording of transactions and the production of monthly financial statements. Responsibilities include preparation and analysis of financial statements, job costing reports, budgets, and cash flow projections, as well as managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The ideal candidate should possess construction industry accounting experience, strong understanding of management and cost accounting principles, and familiarity with QuickBooks and Yardi. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting
- Strong understanding of management and cost accounting principles
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
Desired Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Strong computer and software skills, specifically with QuickBooks and Yardi
- Ability to meet hard month, quarter and year end deadlines
- Highly organized with outstanding communication skills
